To support life cycle assessment, PRé has developed SimaPro.
SimaPro is one of the leading professional LCA software used by industry, consultancies, and research institutes across more than 80 countries. The work we do has a big impact. In the past year, PRé has developed a platform in which more and easier collaboration and data can be shared with clients, so that data about environmental impact ends up with a much larger group.
Our staff is our greatest asset. We engage and empower our people with autonomy, mastery and purpose. We are passionate about the work we do, the clients we serve, and the impact we make every day. PRé has a fast‐paced work environment where creativity and dedication are highly valued.
About the Software team:
If you’re interested to learn more about the latest developments we’re working on, we can give you access to a demo as part of the application process.
What will you do:
You will work on various projects and new features for international clients. We try to make the client specific needs useful for other clients. You will contribute to translating these wishes into features we can implement, so everyone else can benefit from it with little more effort. Clients see our software as a crucial part of their IT Ecosystem. To integrate Life Cycle Information in their existing or custom tools, they are interested in using our REST API to connect those tools to our platform. You will work on extending the possibilities in our software to make this integration as smooth as possible. You will intensively collaborate with the other developers in the team. In addition, you will collaborate with the other teams in PRé to support clients.
You have a Bachelor or Master degree in a technical, science or engineering field. You have a broad interest and great affinity with Front-end technology like Angular and HTML/CSS.
As we value that you operate like a team member we’re looking for someone to join us who is equally (or even more) enthusiastic about web development as we and who wants to help our team accomplish its goals. You are proactive, take your own initiative and are driven to learn and develop yourself. You are looking forward to working in a scrum team and take on the diverse tasks that make up the work of a scrum developer.
You have an open, professional work ethic like the one we have at PRé:
- We have a drive to learn and share knowledge.
- We strive to improve ourselves and help our colleagues do the same.
- We are proactive, deal with challenges and are aware of the impact we and our work have within PRé.
- We work efficiently and effectively, take responsibility for the work we do and keep our commitments.
PRé offers a creative, inspiring and challenging working environment with an open, diverse, informal and international culture, centrally located in a modern building at the Amersfoort central train station. We offer a competitive compensation, excellent training and development opportunities, great responsibilities and the possibility to contribute to a better world.
