Ook ben je communicatief sterk, oplossingsgericht en werk je graag met collega’s en leveranciers samen om de volgende stap te realiseren. Je vindt het belangrijk om jezelf steeds uit te dagen en verder te ontwikkelen.

Wat ga je doen?

Als onderdeel van het ESG team binnen EK Fashion, ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van de gestelde ESG doelen met een focus op private label en productdata. Hiervoor hebben we de samenwerking in de gehele toeleveringsketen nodig. Jij bouwt en onderhoudt relaties met o.a. supply chain partners, collega’s, andere bedrijven en technologische partners. Dit met als doel om de private labels (eigen kledingmerken) binnen EK Fashion te verduurzamen en met deze verkregen inzichten ook retailers en merken te adviseren.

Samenvattend zijn jouw belangrijkste taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

• Doorlopende sustainability due diligence: monitoren en sturen op risico reductie en progressie (d.m.v. audits, certificeringen en dialoog).
• Implementeren van sociale- en milieuprojecten zoals leefbaar loon en Net Zero.
• Verkrijgen van productdata uit de supply chain en deze visueel inzichtelijk maken (d.m.v. LCA’s en footprintdata).
• Begeleiden van diverse processen voor meer efficiëntie.
• Samenwerken met andere units binnen EK en met andere Fashion bedrijven.
• Rapporteren op basis van gestelde KPI’s (in lijn met ESRS, CSRD en andere wet- en regelgeving).
• Verkregen inzichten en visie delen met het Fashion ESG team om zodoende (nieuwe) dienstverlening op te zetten richting retailers en merken.

Wat vragen wij van jou?

• Je hebt een afgeronde hbo- en/of wo-opleiding.
  Minimaal 3-5 jaar werkervaring in duurzaamheid.
• Je bent analytisch, nauwkeurig en hebt affiniteit met data, systemen en technologische verbeteringen.
• Je bent communicatief vaardig.
• Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Duits is een pre.

Waar kom je terecht?

EK Fashion levert diensten aan zelfstandige retailers die zijn gespecialiseerd in mode en ondersteunt bij de dagelijkse bedrijfsvoering van hun modewinkel. Vrijheid en zelfstandigheid staan hierbij altijd centraal. De ondernemer bepaalt zelf welke samenwerking het beste bij haar/hem past. Dit kan variëren van ondersteuning in de backoffice tot meer intensieve samenwerkingsvormen. De grenzen tussen de samenwerkingsvormen zijn niet zo scherp en varianten zijn ook mogelijk.

Een van de diensten is het aanbieden van aantrekkelijke private labels. EK Fashion biedt een breed scala van kleding merken in de baby/kindermode, heren- en damesmode. Op kantoor bruist het altijd van creativiteit en energie. Enkele merken zijn Babyface, SUPPLY & CO, Born with Appetite en in shape.

EK Fashion is een onderdeel van EK Nederland.

Je komt terecht in een leuke en informele groep collega’s. Je werkt veel samen met andere afdelingen. Je stemt regelmatig af met de ESG Manager, met wie je nauw samenwerkt.

EK Nederland (onderdeel van onze Europese moederorganisatie EK) is de grootste retail-serviceorganisatie van Nederland. What will you do?

As part of the ESG team within EK Fashion, you will be responsible for executing the set ESG goals with a focus on private label and product data. To do this, we need collaboration across the supply chain. You will build and maintain relationships with supply chain partners, colleagues, other companies and technology partners, among others. This with the aim of making the private labels (own clothing brands) within EK Fashion more sustainable and using these acquired insights to also advise retailers and brands.

In summary, your main tasks and responsibilities are:

• Ongoing sustainability due diligence; monitoring and steering for risk reduction and progress (through audits, certifications and open dialogue).
• Implement social and environmental projects such as living wage and Net Zero.
• Gathering product data from the supply chain and providing visual insight (through LCAs and footprint data).
  Guiding various processes for higher efficiency.
• Collaborating with other units within EK and with other Fashion companies.
• Reporting based on defined KPIs (in line with ESRS, CSRD and other laws and regulations).
• Sharing acquired insights and vision with the Fashion ESG team in order to set up (new) services towards retailers and brands.

What do we ask of you?

• You have a completed hbo- or wo education.
• At least 3-5 years work experience in sustainability.
• Analytical, accurate and affinity with data, systems and technological improvements.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent fluency in Dutch and English, both oral and written. German is an advantage.

Where will you be based?

EK Fashion provides services to independent retailers specialising in fashion and supports them in the day-to-day running of their fashion shop. Freedom and independence are always central here. The entrepreneur decides which cooperation suits her/him best. This can vary from back office support to more intensive forms of cooperation. The boundaries between the forms of cooperation are not so sharp and variants are also possible.

One of the services is offering attractive private labels. EK Fashion offers a wide range of clothing brands in baby/childrenswear, menswear and womenswear. The office is always buzzing with creativity and energy. Some brands include Babyface, SUPPLY & CO, Born with Appetite and in shape.

EK Fashion is part of EK Netherlands.

You will join a fun and informal group of colleagues. You collaborate a lot with other departments. You regularly coordinate with the ESG Manager, with whom you work closely.
